I-Race Series Eastern Crk

The day started well with James in the Holden VK Commodore hitting the track at Eastern Creek looking like he had nothing to lose. With a brand new in-car camera mounted to the roll cage, James completed the first qualifier in 1st place in HDT Cup. With the world at his feet he headed out for Qualifier 2. It was at this stage that the day went pear shaped.
On lap 2, a noise no-one wants to hear when they are on the track occurred. With a sudden bang and thud, the race was over for James and his I-Race event drew to a close. With a trip back to St George Steering, John Leffler delivered the news that the gear box had $&!# itself. With further investigation underway, it is hoped the VK Commodore and James are back on the track by June. James may have to reassess some of his snappy gear changes!!!
